Getting Started
Add InDesign documents, books or packages, choose an output folder, and create a structurally checked IDML together with readable quality reports.
Quick Start
Add ⌘O, INDB, INDD, INDT, IDML, PDF, or ZIP files, as well as InDesign package folders, or drag them into the main window. Select an output folder and click “Process All.” For each successfully processed file, an IDML file, a quality report, and a technical report will be available in the results folder.
Create the best starting point
The most accurate reconstruction is achieved with a complete InDesign package: INDD or INDT, an original IDML file with the same name (if possible), or a PDF export of the same document version, along with all linked graphics and the font files used. Missing components can also be added after the first run.
Original and Output
INDD2IDML reads only approved original files and operates entirely locally. Each document receives a new, uniquely named output folder in the selected output folder; existing files and previous results are not overwritten.
