Add resources
Supply missing fonts, linked graphics, resource folders or a reference PDF, then reconstruct only the affected InDesign document while keeping the previous result.
Finding linked files
You can use “Resources” to share permanent search folders for all jobs. The app searches there for missing image, PDF, and font files. Job-specific folders can be added later under “Improve Reconstruction.” Only explicitly selected folders are read.
Improve completed reconstructions
As a result, missing or ambiguous graphics, as well as missing, approximated, or replaced fonts, are listed individually. You can explicitly assign an original graphic, add resource folders, font files, or a PDF, and reconstruct only this document. The previous result is retained if the new run fails.
Using fonts retroactively
OTF, TTF, TTC, OTC, and dfont files can be selected for a job or found via a search folder. The app checks the internal PostScript name and uses a unique match for text measurement, but does not install or modify the font. The applicable font license must be observed.
